Jesus died at the age of 33,
a tragic death on the cross

Jesus faced persecution, many people sought to destroy him, and finally they succeeded and nailed him to the cross.

Jesus left behind an example, that people should only do what is right in the sight of GOD, even at the peril of death.

Parents have lots to worry

It is never an easy task to be a parent. Changing napkins, bathing them, feeding them, caring for them when they are sick would easily break a person. More also the wife has to do household chores, cleaning, buying and cooking food, washing clothes, .... Added to these, especially for parents of homeschooler, how to educate their children.

She has to worry more if the finance is tight - household mortgage, various bills to pay.

I am not here to add to your burdens.

First of all, if one truly returns to LORD/Jesus and walks in their teachings, the burden would become light. Your mental load will be much lightened.

Secondly, the world is not what it appears to be. (Please read the links in [ABOUT A PRESIDENTIAL HEARING NO CONCERNED CITIZEN SHOULD MISS].)

Should calamities come, those who have children have much more burden - they have to care not only for themselves but for their children. They have to feed not only themselves but their children.

When Jesus talked about the calamities to befall to Jerusalem, he said, "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation has come near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those who are inside the city depart, and let not those who are out in the country enter it; for these are days of vengeance, to fulfill all that is written. ALAS FOR THOSE WHO ARE WITH CHILD and for those who give suck in those days! For great distress shall be upon the earth and wrath upon this people; ... " [Luke 21:21-23]

Do not do things for your child when you can TEACH him/her to do them themselves. Prepare them to stand up on their own.

Our minds can be read by super-computers, with microchips implanted secretly in the head (by the Secret Alliance) and pattern-recognize by super-computers (computer can read your hand-writing, why cannot it read your brain-waves and discern your thoughts), DO YOU THINK LORD CANNOT READ YOUR HEART AND YOUR SECRET THOUGHTS?

Walk in the light, do not walk in darkness. Repent, and return to the LORD.

America is truly a land of liberty, but only the people in it would serve LORD, and would keep His Laws and Commandments. The days will come that the saying of Jesus will be fulfilled on those who called themselves Christians but are not, "You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lot its taste, how shall its saltness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trodden under foot by men." [Mt 5:13] People will rise and tread you down like the mire of the street, if you continue in your life-style of godlessness.

Believe in Jesus - you must mean it - and you sins will be washed away.

MORAL EDUCATION + KNOWLEDGE EDUCATION

I firmly believe that education should be twofold (1) Moral Education (2) Knowledge Education (crafts, engineering, ... )

If you do not educate him/her in moral, he/she would rebel, adding to you tons of troubles, in addition to your daily cares and chores. Perhaps, one day, would beat you or even point a gun at you.

I don't think un-schooling will work. Homeschooling will work only if the parents can get hold of good textbooks. Do not despise the old and out-of-print text-books. Many can guide your child step by step to knowledge. You don't have to prepare material, just be a supervisor to see how he/she progresses with the text-books.

I have written many material, suitable for home-schoolers and others.

  1. LOGIC

It consists of 10 pages. 5 pages questions and 5 pages answers.

Guaranteed to know Logic after working all exercises. Guarantee void if you miss out one exercise.

  2. GEOMETRY AND TRIGONOMETRY

Guaranteed to learn them quickly. Again, guarantee void if you miss out one exercise.

  3. BOOK-KEEPING FOR SHOPOWNERS

  4. How to sing

  5. Computer - especially written for adults but suitable for teenagers too. You may learn Qbasic Programming, C Programming, How to write Web Pages for the Internet using HTML (Hypertext Mark Up Language - a language to type-set for the Internet), .... But for these webpages to be useful, you MUST have someone knowledgeable in computer nearby, to ask questions. Or else, just a little mis-understanding can waste you hours, if not days and weeks.

  6. Mathematics - SET THEORY

  7. Others, which you may find in my homepage, English Section (please scroll down to the near bottom)

Personally, I think Internet age is the ideal age for home-schooling, just use "www.google.com" or other search engines, and use

subject keywords + tutorial

e.g.

bookkeeping tutorial
set tutorial
trigonometry tutorial
....
....

And most probably you can find material suitable for your child. Teach your children this way to locate useful materials themselves. But I still think using good text books should be the way, BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN TIME-TESTED.
